East trail to follow during this stage. The only tricky part would be finding the trial out of Wengen. Restrooms and water can be found at Kleine Scheidegg. There is a camping platz outside of Grindewald (Camping Gletscherdorf).

So beautiful views of Eiger-Monch-Jungfrau ranges along the track. In Alpiglen, I took a Eiger Trail to Eigergletscher and then back to Kleine Scheidegg, a little bit longer for which I spent about 3 hours. I was there in late Sept. The trail was covered by a little bit snow, making the scenery so beautiful and the view of Eiger summit from the trail was very close making it very spectacular. Highly recommended. Then I stayed one night in Kleine Scheidegg (Restaurant Grindelwaldblick), the food and services are so good. Also highly recommended.

Trieste-Monaco on 08/31/14 Second day with the Giants, it's great! Kleine Scheidegg A big crowd, info panel on the history of the conquest of the Eiger. Before the arrival of Lauterbrunnen, Wengen passage, pretty mountain resort to typical homes. Overnight camping in Lauterbrunnen to "Schützenbach." /! \ The service was not satisfactory: the ground was wet in the pouring rain, the tents in the water. The manager was not able to offer us another alternative, except also tempered gravel parking lot ... Although paid, we left the campsite to occupy neighboring land equipped with raised wooden pallets. Thank you neighbor! Very good hot chocolate at the bakery opposite the train station

Top!

    Monaco - Trieste
Wengen - Kleine Scheidegg going up smoothly with a great view all the way. Possible to get closer to the Jungfrau (off via alpina) from Kleine Scheidegg

Grindelwald is marked 2h40 down from Kleine Scheidegg
