The journey snakes between Italy and France, through territories of both Maritime Alps Nature Reserve and Parc National du Mercantour:
4 days, for a total development of 136 km and 4000 m uphill height difference.
1st day
Entracque 900 m. - Valdieri 774 m. - Grotte del Bandito 725 m. – Brignola 685 m. – Tetto
Massa 1056 m. – Tetti Chiotti – Tetto Lombardo  - Tetto della Colla – Goderie 1313 m. –
Tetti Serre - Tetto Nuovo – Vernante 782 m.
33 km, height difference 850 m. 2nd day
Vernante 782 m. – Limone 1013 m. - Colle di Tenda 1871 m. - Forte Tabourda 1982 m. - path GR 52 A - (or older Colle di Tenda- option with much tarmac)
– Tenda 791 m. – GR 52 A colle de Loubaria 997 m. (possible dust road variant to colle de Loubaria.
possible asphalted road if too tired) – La Brigue 772 m.
Possible visit to Notre Dame des Fontaines and La Brigue.
47 km, height difference 1500 m. 3rd day
La Brigue 772 m. – S. Dalmas de Tende 696 m. - Casterino 1560 m.
Short leg on tarmac in the morning. In the afternoon, possibility to visit the Valley of Marvels.
20 km , height difference 850 m. 4th day
Casterino 1560 m. – Basse de Peyreficue 2050 m. (bike on hand until Colle del Sabbione or request to Parc National du Mercantour)
– Colle del Sabbione 2328 m.  – Gias Valera 1540 m. – Ponte del Suffiet 1185 m. – Sartaria – Entracque 900 m.
36 km, height difference 800 m.
